Legal Issues in Flexible Learning
Legal Issues in Flexible Learning - Kit, website and workshops launched in October 2002
The Australian Flexible Learning Framework has launched a kit, website
and workshops in Legal Issues in Flexible Learning to meet the
growing need for quality legal advice for all those involved in flexible
learning in the VET sector.
This set of resources aims to raise awareness of the laws of privacy,
intellectual property and copyright, contracts and e-commerce – much
of it new. It shows flexible learning professionals where to go for up-to-date
information, typical scenarios and discussion.
The information kit consists of a resource book plus 4 booklets which
include scenarios targeted to the needs of specific groups – practitioners
developers, managers and librarians.
The website www.flexiblelearning.net.au/legal provides users with the
opportunity to ask legal questions and receive a general response from
a lawyer up until 9 December 2002.
